Hello, My name is Chris and I am new to the forum. I have always been an F-Body but the majority of my cars have been Camaro's except a very nice 79 silver anniversary TA I owned years ago. I just purchased a 1967 Firebird 326HO since my wife fell in love with the car, its a documented 2 owner (1st owner 1967-2008)that has a huge amount of paperwork. The car is a 326 HO car with AC, it was originally a vinyl top car but when the owner decided to do a repaint in 1985 he had it removed and added a 400 hood. The purist are probably cringing but it was 1985! the car has 57000 original miles, the interior is 100% original down to the carpet, the AC blows cold, all the sheetemetal is original along with all the exterior trim. the 1985 paint job was of the highest quality and looks like it was just painted last month. he then parked the car in a climate controlled garage and did not plate it from 1985-2008, he did take it out twice a year and drive it and went to a few parades but only put 1200 miles on the car in that 25 year period. the engine and transmission have never been touched besides servicing, I have the original owners manual, protecto-plate and warranty manual. the car "floats" down the road, the undercarriage has never been touched and has a slight rust patena but absolutly no rot. since I am a Camaro guy I am no good at knowing what a well documented car like this worth? this is the wife and I's "keeper" since I will never probably find another low mile documented original car like this in my lifetime that I could afford. So give a "newbie" some imput. here are some pics...
