the only ground strap is on the firewall to the back of the engine block. it is bolted to the back of the head on the passenger side, the fire wall locsation is close by.
That is not correct.
There is one strap on the drivers side back of head to the body (firewall). There is also one on the passenger side that is a two piece unit. One connects from the manifold to the frame and than from the same frame location to the body (firewall). Can't remember for sure on the last one, but I believe it is a body to frame connection.
