Most of the rattle cans are not a match for the '68-69. They are the lighter colors used in other (not sure which) years.

We had ours powder coated to match the original but worn colors on the '68. We had the charcoal powdercoated, then painted on the silver spokes. This may seem backwards, but it gives the wheel interiors a dark finish which looks cleaner from the outside through the slots. Not perfectly original, but it looks really nice.
