GJ, Here is a report from one of the Bay Area guys... - Brett - 67 Drop Top 455!
(Hot August Nights was total blast this year. My wife and two sons met up with Hugo and his son and we caravanned to Reno. Cruising was a total grid lock - just to many people, but it was still fun. I drove my 70 GTO convertible (which I sold while I there), my son drove my 69 Firebird convertible, Hugo drove his 69 Firebird too, and Hugo's son Bradley drove a 99 Firebird (could be wrong on the year).
Two things I noticed - more 1st generation Firebirds then ever. More than 20 or so. 5 years ago there was less than 6. We did see an original 69 T/A that had been restored.
Also, Virginia street was open for cruising for 2 hours Saturday night, something they haven't done in 5 years since the rioting occurred.
HAN is sold out for 2005.
I'm looking for a rotisserie to either rent or buy if someone knows of one. Al)
