Seth, I used to live in NJ a long time ago. I have since lived in several states as I used to work for Circuit City as a corp trainer and they moved us all over. Anyway, the thing that always stands out in my mind is how many classic cars and how many cruise nights there were in NJ. I lived in Newbrunswick, NJ area.
Hi Joe,
Although I'm sure the amount doesn't compare to FL or warmer weather areas, I can usually find a cruise going on within 20 minutes of my house everynight of the week. Hopefully you had a chance to make the Somerville cruise night when you were living here. It's one of the few "Downtown" cruises that I know of. All street parking is reserved for classic cars and there are several overflow lots as well. Once the season gets rolling, you need to get there by 3pm to get a spot on the street. But then if you do get a coveted street spot, you give up cruising up and down Main Street. If I can steal my wife's camera tonight, I'll grab some photos.
I'd ask if you missed living in NJ, but knowing you live in sunny FL, I think I know the answer. NJ is great, but the taxes are killing everyone. I'm thinking about leaving soon, but not sure where I would go.
