I put the Global West connectors on my 68 and they came with a pair of solid mounts to replace the center pair. They are shorter to allow for the thickness of the connector material. I replaced the rest with solid as well, now I wish I went with stock on the remainder as you can feel every bump in the road, I swear I'd feel a piece of popcorn if I ran over one.
