I am still new to the website and will probably have many more questions to come. I am restoring a 69 convertible bird 350/th-350 well optioned car, all numbers matching. I purchased the car about an hour from my hometown and from the 2nd owner. It had been stored since 1992. The previous owner has had the engine rebuilt .030 over with a mild upgraded cam. It has never been started yet. However they painted it the wrong Pontiac color, more of a early 70's color. I had a 1966 GTO so I know the color needs changed. What is the best way to go about getting old paint off and putting new on without disassembling the motor? I will be pulling it out for the trip to the body shop later this fall. Thanks for any help and I hope to see some of you this weekend at the Nationals in Dayton Ohio.
