Ever wonder how many parts are in an average 1st Gen Firebird?

In a casual discussion at a local cruise night I commented to someone about the huge number of differences between the '68 Firebirds and their Camaro counterparts. Then I noticed the forum member 69birdinamillionpieces and it got me wondering; how many distinct parts, right down to the washers, ball bearings, and o-rings within the shocks, actually went into building one.
