From all the info I have read the rear seats are the same. If you were talking Camaro then there is a difference between them....from what I can remember the seat was wider in camaros without armrests in the back quarters.
I just looked in my classic catalog and the f-bird seat kits are the same for conv and coupe. The only thing different is if you car has the fold down rear seat option
