I noticed on the the 68 I am working on the that the repo fender's top, outside corner near the bumper is a lot sharper than the other side. The other side, which I believe is still original, follows the rounded contours of the bumper much better.
I assumed that maybe the fender was for a Camaro. Could be just a bad pressing. probably bad pressing....I once saw a Mustang getting re pop fenders ,didnt fit...the guy said the Taiwanese had (no idea if true or not) bought Fords old stamping press and it was so old and used that it was worn to the point the new fenders didnt match the old...???
