thank you all. i appreciate the complements. hope to inspire others to keep the original interior or at least think about it. it is a lot of work and still have some small issues but the bulk of it is coming out nice. the panels are al koch and the headline is trim parts brand. they look and really fit like the originals. the oer (plastic?) trim that goes around the windows are great but they are in black and wont take the dye at all so i just left them black. could not stand to see them flaking with the dye. wish i could dye them the right color i quess black will do.
I painted mine as well and most of it flaked off. Do you know of a safe way to get the paint of as the ones I painted were Ivory Gold.
