The AMA specifications I have for the `68 suggests the following:

Manual 3-speed, all engines, 2.75 x 49.96 x 0.65 Manual 4-speed, all engines, 2.75 x 49.96 x 0.65 Automatic 250 and 350 cu.in, 2.75 x 49.96 x 0.65 Automatic TH, 400 cu in 2.75 x 49.30 x 0.65
PS: Does anyone know if there's a copyright on these AMA spec's? If not, would there be a place on this website to store them for public access if I scanned the pages?
