Any opinions as to whether I should put the 67 seat in or start the long process of finding a '68 seat? Thanks!
Unless you are putting together a 95 point show car, I'd stay with the '67 seat. If you don't need to install it soon, you may find someone with a '68 seat for their '67 and you could swap.
They are a pain in the butt to piece together for the correct year.
