Thanks for all the help guys, this is my first fgf, but i had never seen this bracket on one before. i guess i'll just go with assuming it was a dealer add on, remove the bracket and put rubber plugs in the firewall for now. I'd rather have it without a/c anyways. This car feels like it was ordered just for the power. It has no power options except power steering. Has manual front discs, 400, 4 speed. Dual traction bars and an old sun tach already installed by the column. Love it love it love it.
