If your lines (hard lines) end at the small L shaped bracket on the side of the frames and you have 69 Camaro/Firebird rubber lines, I can understand they are too long because the 69 set up has the hard lines finish over the upper A-arm. I know exactly what you mean and I did such a conversion on a 68 Camaro. What you want is a rubber hose from a 72 Monte Carlo. It will fit just fine. Went thru that a year ago, did a long search on a Camaro forum, found out about the 72 Monte hose, bought them at advance auto parts, everything fits fine. Let us know the outcome. Frank.
