I found that the gas tank staps have a small slot that I used to mount the RobbMc filter with a rubber line clamp. It worked really well with a short 10/32 button head screw throgh the strap. I had the gas tank out for the RobbMc fuel sender. So with the gas tank out I put some sound deadner (Second skin) sheets under the trunk.
I did a test fit and found the hose clamp screws would hit the trunk floor so I shaved them down on the head and the opposit end.
I used a quick disconect connector filled with dialectric grease on the electic line for the gauge. It was emotionaly hard to cut the brand new factory end.
I was also very carfull to mark the filter direction and the sending unit lines for direction (in/out). Its a pain in the but to drop the tank and most likely I would forget wich side was wich. BTW the RobbMC is a 1/2 in and Out.
I also found that I had to get all my barb fitting and adapter at a hydralic hose company. I stoped at Menards, lowes and Home Depot and knowone had the right fittings. Plus the hydralic hose place had the thick blue 1/2 gas line.
