The bottom tube in your 2nd picture( straight tube with flared end and a slight curve ) is to be installed from the inside of the block with the straight end up through the hole in the block by tapping on the flared end until the flared end is flush with the bottom of the block trying not to damage or distort the round flare as this is where the curved windage tray tube fits into. The upper curved tube with the bracket fits into the straight end of the block tube. You will have to remove the windage tray to install the block tube and determine which direction the slight curve should point on the block tube before tapping into block.
