The dual snorkel from a 1970 Firebird sits lower to clear the lower hood line of the 2nd Gen F-body. Trade it for a 1968-1970 unit and you should have no problem.
The F-bird version of the dual-snorkel housing is bashed in at the back to clear the distributor. That's the easiest way to identify it.
