Interesting thread, but i'm talking about the actual rear crank seal, not the rear pan seal. When i put my pan back on i don't intend on useing any gaskets, thats why the engine is on the stand in the first place (poor quality cork gaskets that leak). I'm going to seal it to the block with Fords diesel engine rated silicone sealer, i've never seen one leak.
