Agree on 1st gear. Had a 700r4 w/3.42's in mine. Pretty much useless even w/them. Best over all range for power-n-cruise is 3.08-3.66 3.55 not bad with taller tires. Havent thrown tires in the mix, so figure we should...
BTY, still have the 700 w/2800 stall convtr, adapter plt-n-cable, etc. Just in case someones interested. Not cheap. Art Carr 500 plus hp build.
