The holes in the steel frame are just that ... holes. The screws pass thru the lid, thru the frame and into the J-nut and then the whole works is squeezed together. The designer was a real smart ... a$$ !

Your expected to save the old glove box J-Nuts and take them off and put on the new repop glove box.
