I have owned my 69 firebird 16 years and only driven it around at my house. Now car is almost ready for the road after i replace top. My car is a 400 Firebird conv. Over the years i checked the vin on lower ft. of engine and it matches the vin on dash. Cowl tag matches paint color, interior color and has 22367. Hidden vins match vin on dash but dash vin has 22337 which designates it as a coupe. I never knew that until someone told me a few days ago. I am not sure but does the body code 37 or 67 always match on the cowl tag and dash vin. If so could it be a factory mistake. I talked to phs and they say they can maybe tell using the last part of vin number. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
