I have come across documentation that suggests the styling designers clashed with the spoiler engineers over the fact that the trunk mounted "455" could not be mounted (and therfore seen) in the standard trunk lid emblem location.
o, but it can....it will look like the original location from 'afar' ( a fire , in Texas accent!)...I myself placed the 400 emblem in the almost correct location onto my prototypes rear mounted spoiler , (must have been 'factory' as it was there when I bought the car...I`ve got picture to prove it too! and that non existant 455 most likely had the Buick 'slant' to the emblem too right?
