One kit just has the spacer (which I understand is for bolt-head clearance) and U-bolts. I think I remember an old post which I can't find now that mentioned a brand of springs that had the bolt head recessed, eliminating the need for the spacer? Anybody?
With this kit, you re-use your existing '67 style shock mount plate?
Do standard '67 shocks still reach or do you need shock extenders?
Is there a ride height difference when going with 5 leaf compared to 4 leaf?
Is there any other benefit of going with 4 leaf vs. 5 leaf?
For ride height, do you need to go with more arch in the springs to make up for the lowering that the spacer gives?
The other kit I see has new shock mount plates, but they appear to be the '68 style. These were staggered right, so you would have to move the upper mounts and buy '68 year shocks?
