I have a uncut 69 dash in my bird and would like to install a radio that doesn't force me to cut the dash. It would be nice to have a radio I can use (with some power) but I am not opposed to installing a factory AM or FM radio that will fill the void, light up and look pretty while I installing a good radio somehwere else.

I have two questions:

Is there a radio out there I can USE that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, some of the prices should be illegal.

Also, am I locked into just a 69 firebird factory radio? There are alot of late 60's early 70's radios out there that look like they will work and have the blue color tone I think I need to match my heater controls.
