Is it possible to add a later model Pontiac 5 speed to rplace the stock 4 speed unit? I would love to have that 5th gear (In fact I keep looking for it everytime I drive it Lol). There is a lot of freeway driving I have to do here so the fifth gear would be real nice to have

I dont want to spend $3,500.00 to upgrade and was wondering if there was a simple way to put in a late model tranny

I am looking to make this more of a road car not a stright line dragster.
