If your seat upholstery is in great shape but has lost it's pearly sheen, I would consider painting them only as a last resort.
I still have the original upholstery; only the side armrests and door panels were painted with the Colorbond product. You can notice, though, that the sheen is gone from the armrest upholstery, whereas it's still there with the seat.
Like you, my seat upholstery was in very good shape but looked dull and faded. I got them back to looking this way with a combination of Spray 9 used together with a lot of heaving scrubbing using Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, then wiped down with a clean, moist cloth.
Just wondering though - is the Comfort Weave centre section on the seat a cloth material or is it vinyl as well?
