I have a 68 firebird with drum brakes. Sometime down the road i would like to put discs on the front. I was looking at the Torq thrust 2's and i wasnt sure about the backspacing and rim/tire size. I was wanting to order 17x8 with 4.5 backspacing for the front and 17x9.5 with 5.5 backspacing for the rear. If i switch to discs, will the rims stick out more or less? What ratio of tire....thinking 40 series in front and 45 series in back. Basically i want a nice stance without any rubbing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
