I just purchased a highly optioned Firebird 400 convertible that's mostly complete and original (except for a repaint in 1990). It's a very nice driver, and I'm enjoying it.
The one thing that does not work is the cruise control. From what I can tell from the Factory Service Manual, everything's there except for the ball chain that connects the diaphragm to the carb. Any ideas where I can find one? I checked PY, Ames, and Ebay...I'm kind of surprised that something like this would be difficult to locate. Am I missing the obvious?
