Hi Joe. Yes and yes. Looking for one without the large buttons installed for use with a snap on top cover.
There should be several screws that you have to partially lower the top to get access to. also, at each end is a easily visible screw. Once those are out, there are clips holding it down. just pull toward the upper windshield and it should loosen. make sure to remove the overlapping piece first.
