Well im very happy with the #16 heads , mine got accidently pocket ported. I dropped them off at a local engine shop that came highly recommended by many as not a typicle machine shop. i went and spoke with the owner about what i wanted done. I had all the guides done, new ss valves , higher rev springs, new valve job. But the person whom did the job misunderstood what he was suppossed to do. should have only cost 350. he called me up and said all set 750.00 , i was like how did you go from 350 to 750? he read off what they did , he got to the pocket porting. i stopped him and said, um i never said to port them. he put me on hold , came back and said our mistake my machinest assumed you wanted the ports cleaned up. so is 400.00 fair? sure is lol. thanks!
