This car is the missing ocular test mule. Very rare indeed. Once it was determined that the majority of Americans are right eye dominate the gauges were reversed on production cars. It was my understanding this car was lost to the crusher in early '69. They didn't want it sold to the public for fear of another "opti-grab" type personal injury lawsuit.
The new owners are going to have a decision to make, do they go with a concours correct restoration and risk personal injury or do they reverse the gauges to improve optical clarity. Either way I would get the PHS. It could be a clone.
