I purchased my conversion kit from Matt's Classic Bowties, and it included new steering arm bolts and nuts. Might be worth seeing if he has them separate. Also, if you go the hardware store route, make sure you are buying grade 8 stuff, a lot of pressure in that area when turning. Matt's is out of the Northern California area I believe.
