ya, ditto, i cant believe they sell that junk. i had the same thing happen with my "new OER" door seals.I had to trim them to get the door to close, then slam them to get them to close all the way. I left them closed all winter. they are better , but im going to replace them. I cant understand why manufactures believe selling this stuff is ok. i could cut out a better set of gaskets with the correct foam rubber and an x-acto knife. How can somebody make something and have an original available and think that hard rubber is OK and will work fine. My tail panel was actually bending before the rubber would compress. I tried everything to soften them.
