Too big of exhaust is the same as having too big of a cam,power will peak out than drop off,unless you are running over 300-350HP,use no larger than 2.5" exhaust.The bigger exhaust(3") will not allow enough back pressure(too much exhaust flow) causing a great loss of power and a great loss to the wallet.
