At this point they have been worked on twice. They ended up getting jobbed out to another shop by the guy I hired. The first guy just put on new covers the winter before last. But he put them on knowing there were broken springs. Wow! the cost of Covers were around $300 then I paid $100 bucks to have him put the covers on. I hated the way they felt in the car. This time I bought new lower springs from Ames (Al Knoch)$180, new foam $180 and $120 to have it all put together. So I am at almost $900 on the pair. Not one of my best deals but I can drive my car now!
Brian - You paying the duty?
Sledog - yes busted springs and the ones that weren't broken were really week. It felt like I was sitting on the floor before.
