My paint was mixed to the original formula and looks correct (see sig pic) but there are so many things that can change it.
Sun/shade, time of day (as the sun goes down it gets more red than orange) lighting (most gas station lights seem to suck all the red out of it and it turns pure orange, almost Orbit Orange).

I agree with Bjorn though, the car in question appears to be "re-sale red"

What does the trim tag say ? Carousel Red was actually a special order color in '69 and I'm not sure how many buyers shelled out the extra $12.50 for it. For some reason the same color on a '69 non-judge GTO was around $100.00 extra.
