A friend put it best, nothing beats a good running engine and a flex fan or clutch fan set up. The only issue is when they idle the electric fan will keep it cooler than the Mechanical fan. Now he was saying when an engine is over bored it can have cooling issues and the electric fans will have a tough time cooling it.
