I am installing the front drum brakes and the self adjuster which my car did not have when I took them apart. I'm finding the top wire of the self adjuster is to long. It seems it was made to go to a top center support and my bird top support is not like that. It is hard to explain but maybe a picture will help.

The top picture is mine and the bottom is a picture of inline tube showing how to install it. See their top post compared to mine. Mine hangs further down making the adjuster wire to long.

Should I cut and rebend or do you have a mother suggestion
