At first I thought you were talking about a spacer between the pulley and fan, but now I understand and I would have to agree with Medhat and that you might have a mix match of pulleys. I had the same problem when I first got my bird and found someone had put washers behind the pulley to push the pulley out towards the front of the car. After looking at the pulley I found out it was the wrong one. I would first look to see which pulley you should have here http://thefirstgensite.com/library/partscounter/illustrated/pullybelt/pullybelt1.html and find your exact year and the stock set up that your car came from the factory with. That link will give you the correct part number and as you will see there are a lot of combos that came in these firebird which makes it a pain in the rear. Once you find the correct PT #'s you can do a search by those to find them. CVF racing has a good spacer kit if you find you still need to have them http://www.cvfracing.com/Water-Pump-Pulley-Spacer-Kit-p/wp-spacer-kit.htm I run their pulley and bracket set up on mine and I found that my crank and WP pulley was off about a 16th or 8th and that kit has all the right sizes and combos that you might need and it fixed my alignment problem right up.
