Okay this should be one of the most simple things to do, but so far Im having NO luck! I have a 69 firebird and I know they are different then the 67 and 68, but hoping somebody has some pictures or could take some and send them to me imderrickjed@yahoo.com If I install from the inside my lock will not fit through the hole. If I install from the outside it sticks out and the firebird emblem will not fit over the lock. do I install it on the inside with spacers so its flush? Did I buy bad parts? Im lost at this point and want to be sure its right.
