Bought a 2nd one to drive while restore 1st one. After 3 yrs of fix this-replace that on 2nd one, decided just completely redo it. Had lots of good parts, just not done correctly. Then found hidden body damage and rust... Found no rust GTO just needed engine/trany/paint(which i had) for a great price. Then company got bought out, lost good job. Not long after, buddy with a drink'n-drive'n problem(did not know until after) to do body work ended up in hospital for a month. mean while his brother cleaned out his account(with my 1/2 down payment), stole some of my parts and ebayed them. Couldnt prove it was him until was to late. There was no police report filed. I checked when i went to get my car(with no frt end, doors, and qtrs cut off). So now both cars completely torn apart on shelves. Had to sell my 68 GTO to pay bills. Then sold engine/trans to pay more bills.
Anyhow hope this makes you feel its not so bad. Could be worse..
