My car is now running but fuel gauge always reads full With the wire to the rear body harness-full Grounded the rear harness connection-empty Looked for a ground wire near backside of tank and did not see any ground wire anywhere. Dropped the tank and it was half full Now my question.... The sender and tank look new-ish Even the wire that plugs into the top and goes to the rear harness is new But no ground wire or sign of one Anywhere on sender No broken tab, no nothing
Now every pic of a sender in a catalog has a ground wire..But I can't zoom in close enough to see where its at.
Can I add one? And if so where? Or do I have to get a new sender?
Thanks in advance...If I could post a pic of the sender with NO ground wire I would
