Thanks for the quick responses. I posted a slightly better picture. On some Firebirds there is a chrome trim piece that goes along the bottom of the dash and then down the left and right sides, but this recessed area in the picture is something else. It looks like there is supposed to be some kind of decorative trim that goes there, which is why I think it is not the right dash pad for my Firebird. I spoke to the tech support people at OER today and they agree that it does not look right. The tech said that he would pull one out of stock and look at it to compare. He will be calling me back later this afternoon, so I may not post the answer until tomorrow. I just hope that I don't have to wait another two weeks to get a replacement if that is the case.
