I found an olds switch, new old stock. It worked beautifully but I couldn't tell how it mounted. I didn't see a threaded fastner at the end like I see in Jim's photo. Thanks Jim, I couldn't recall where I had seen your photo before. I remembered the home made repro bellows.
I would rather have the correct item. If not correct, then at least carb mounted since that is where the harness leads to.
It probably wouldn't be too dificult to make a solid state version with an IR led interupter part, a transistor and a shutter plate fastened to the throttle.
There does seem to be about six requests for this part when anyone mentions they are parting out a car. Could make the solid state ones up for eBay sales?
