Hi there, I just inherited my dad's '68 firebird 400 coupe. Before he passed away I remember him talking about the trunk latch not releasing. Now that I've taken a look, the key turns in the lock, and it feels like it's turning more than just the tumbler, but nothing is releasing the trunk. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might be able to get into the trunk, or get at the mechanism?
