Your car...do as you see fit. Anyone can copy a factory build and that sadly seems to be the fad these days for old cars. I hope it starts to pass...cuz nothing bores me at a car show quite like a nut & bolt $100K concourse resto... But I believe it takes true vision and guts to make a car all your own...
Obviously I was making a funny. Of all things my eyes gravitated to the door handles first...AWESOME...appears the owner is 1 ft 4 inches tall...
BUT...despite the fact that I find that car very gaudy looking, I sincerely respect the builder's vision and what he had the gonads to build. And I make it no secret that I'm a big fan of customization/personalization, and I very much LIKE tasteful spoilers on FGF's. Not so sure about louvers though. All joking aside, I do find this one to be very tasteful and mean looking...and I could see myself giving a 69 Bird this kind of treatment if I owned one of that year, cuz this car pretty much mirrors MY style: Click for an ACTUAL nice looking 69 Bird WITH spoilers (my opinion obviously)
And yes, I do indeed hope the mullet makes a comeback. Not joking.
