Great work crazycars, I've been summoning up the courage to install a hood tach and watched the youtube videos.

I had also thought the hood didn't need to come off as long as I taped up some plastic sheet or large garbage bag under the hood to catch the swarf.

The method of using a roll of tape to centre the cutout within the underhood bracing looks good... where is your tach in relation to the bracing?

How good is the illumination at night?
