My 68 Bird was running 210 degrees no matter what I did. I tried many different fans, coolant additives, different ratios of water to antifreeze etc. I finally bit the bullet and bought a Rodney Red Aluminum. They are kind of pricy, but I can honestly say it's the best money I've spent on an upgrade to my car. It now runs 180 degrees no matter how hot it is.
