Hi guys. Some of you may remember my post from a few months ago whining about not having any time to work on my 'bird post-divorce and blah blah blah.
Well, despite the excellent advice I got from you to gut it out, I simply am just overwhelmed with stuff and have decided to sell her off.
It's a 69 original 350/350 car in corflower/gold. Plain jane. I've done a frame-off restoration of the undercarriage and sub-frame. 2" drop spindles, front disc brakes installed, new coil springs. She's a roller now. Original 2.83 rear end is installed but that wasn't the long term plan. I just didn't get to the rear-end and needed it to roll.
The motor is a totally rebuilt 400 out of a 69 GTO. New crank, cam, bearings, rings, and so forth. Never turned over. The break-in was going to be a good day, but that's not likely to happen in my garage.
I have a completely refurbished 200R4 installed from a local transmission guy. No miles on the transmission.
I have brand new brake lines in the box and a bunch of other stuff. All the sheet metal is here, painted, and accounted for. Original interior (needs restoration), seat belts, etc. Nothing is missing from the car. Original PMC wheels.
Bought a new Formula 400 steel hood. Never installed. Have the original 350 hood in cornflower.
It just needs love and time to make her great. I just don't have the time or the energy now and need to move on.
She's stored in a 30' storage unit in Auburn, CA so i don't have any recent pictures. Trust me, it's everything I said. I'm a straight-shooter and mean what I say.
I paid $7000 for the running car prior to the restoration, but suffice to say I've got about $4000 into it and hundreds of hours of labor. In the right hands, this could be a great car with just a tiny financial investment and some time and effort.
I will take the first $7000 from what of you nice guys out there willing to tow-dolley or trailer it home. I will be glad to help you load everything up.
This is not a pig in a poke. Everything is here and it's all easy to see once you get here.
Please let me know via private message if you are willing to come out. The price is firm. I don't want to get into any negotiations since it's already super cheap.
Best to you all. Tom
1969 Firebird, 350-2v/350, Verdoro Green (?), Green vinyl, numbers matching, relatively unmolested. Needs a bit of everything.
